What we do
Power Gift is the first New Zealand website of its kind. We exchange unwanted gift cards for money by paying anywhere between 55% and 90% cash of your gift card’s value. This allows us to then take that gift card and sell it to anyone who wants it for lower than it’s face value.

Origins of Power Gift In mid-2011 the idea for Power Gift was conceived. It turned out to be an entirely new gift card marketplace which would 'unlock' millions of gift cards that would otherwise never be used. After much research and development Power Gift was finally launched in late 2011. Our mission is to enable every Kiwi out there to make the most out of their gift cards. Power Gift is based in Auckland, New Zealand.
